Written in second person perspective, transforming the reader into a character, EVER AGAIN features the quest of mind-scientist Jeff who leads a think tank studying human emotion.

 
The kaleidoscopic chain of interrelated characters swirl in a seemingly interconnected whirlwind in an unspecified underground facility that is as much mysterious as it is telling. As the story unfolds, the action, as much as the characters, are being driven by what the facility suggests rather than what it really is. With individual stories, the characters unleash unbelievable acts that are as ironic as they are haunting. 

Only Jeff seems to have a clear picture of the entire premise. No wonder everyone involved gravitates towards him for the answers. Whether above ground or below, Jeff reminds us all, even within the most overwhelming claustrophobia, that keeping calm and retaining one’s humanity is the key to survive and thrive.
